Importing and Exporting Test Case

Exporting Multiple Test Cases

1. Select the check-box of test case/s that need to be exported.

2. Click ‘More’.

3. Select Export CSV to export as CSV file.

Exporting Test Cases from Test Suite/Sub Suites

1. Clicking ‘…’ icon from test suite/sub suite.

2. Click ‘CSV’ context menu.

Importing Test Cases

It requires proper permissions listed below for Jira user whom is going to do test case import:

1. Jira ‘Create Issues’ permission

2. Jira ‘Modify Reporter’ permission

3. TestRay ‘Manage Test Cases’ permission

4. TestRay ‘Manage Test Suites’ permission

1. Go to the ‘’Test Suites’’ page.

2. Click the ‘’Import Test Cases’’ tab.

3. Click ‘’Import’’. The TestRay Importer page appears.

4. Click ‘Browse’.

5. Browse to the test case import file and click ‘’Open’’.

6. Click ‘’Next’’.

7. Select the appropriate value in JIRA Field column.

8. Click ‘’Import’’.

Note: This will create test cases in the ‘’Test Suites’’ page.
