Creating Test Executions from Test Suite

When user is viewing test cases from a specific test suite, user can select test cases and then create test runs from them directly. Following are steps to create test executions from test suite.

  1. Launch a test suite with a list of test cases.

  2. Select test cases those needs to be executed.

  3. Click “Gear“ icon, then “Create Test Run” context menu.

  1. From “Create Test Runs from Selected Test Cases“ dialog:

    1. Either creating a new test plan by clicking “Create Test Plan“ button or choose an existing test plan from “Existing Test Plan“ list.

    2. Either creating a new test cycle by clicking “Create Test Cycle“ button or choose an existing test cycle from “Existing Test Cycle“ list.

    3. Either choose “Add test cases to test cycle and create corresponding test runs.” or “Only add test cases to corresponding test cycle, you can create test runs later.“.

  2. Click “Create” button.

Tips:

This option is also available for test suite/sub suite node, it will work on all members in the selected node.
